IWC's current Mark XVIII watches are kind of a design hybrid between the Mark XV and the XVI; they retain the "6" and "9" numerals like the Mark XV but have sword hands like the Mark XVI. As I mentioned, I own both; I personally prefer the overall look of the Mark XV quite a bit more although I like the white-on-black coloring of the Mark XVI .

The Mark XV is the direct descendent of the Mark XI and hallmarks of its ancestor can be seen throughout its design. With it's traditionally-styled dial and a modern (and perfect!) 38mm case size with longer, slimmer lugs and a thinner overall feel on the wrist, the Mark XV is perhaps our favorite contemporary Mark-series pilot's watch. Towards the end of the Mark XI's run, IWC also produced some for commercial sale. This watch pays due homage to the design language of the Mark 11 while providing hassle-free ownership. The IWC Mark XV is my favourite GADA watch and is regarded as the last ‘true’ Mark. This due to the original style hands as found on the RAF models. The bracelet is by far the most comfortable I’ve ever owned and removing/adding links is very easy with IWC’s system.
