It seems these IWC Boxes are notorious for the gloss/residue becoming really tacky and eventually wears down a lot and gives a terrible appearance to the box. I've used Goo Gone, as well as some cleaner/degreaser and nothing seems to be pulling the residue off. My Iwc box is very sticky I am assuming it just the rubberized finish breaking down due to age. Is there any fix? Can I use goo gone and remove all the finish? Can I treat it with something made for rubber? What can I do?
